am - 4:00 pm. We do not close for the lunch hour. We do close for the

Fees, Billing, and Insurance
What fees should I expect to pay?
Our fees are within customary range for this area and reflect the level
of care you will receive and the high level of training required to provide
this care. Charges are made for office visits, surgery, procedures, and
laboratory tests. We have standardized fees for these services. These
fees are listed in the office and are available to you at all times. The
fees for obstetrical care include all medical care from your first visit
through your prenatal care, delivery, and your visit six weeks following
delivery. The only extra charges would be for special laboratory tests,
and, if needed, a real time scan, non-stress test and stress test. If
a cesarean birth is needed, an extra charge is made for surgery.
How is billing handled?
Because the high cost of billing for routine visits and procedures may
require us to significantly raise our fees, we ask that charges for office
visits and procedures be paid for at the time of the visit. Obstetrical
patients' fees are handled in a special manner. A global fee is assigned
at the time of the first visit. This fee includes all charges involved
in your care including all prenatal visits, vaginal delivery, and your
postpartum care. This fee cannot be billed to your insurance company until
your baby is delivered. The usual coverage is 80%. You will be asked to
pay your deductible and co-insurance by the end of the sixth month of
pregnancy.
How is insurance handled?
The receipt that is given to you after your visit has been designed for
insurance purposes. We will be happy to give you assistance if you need
help filing your insurance claim for surgical procedures and deliveries.
You are ultimately responsible for your bills regardless of what type
of insurance you have.
Are my medical records confidential?
All your medical records are confidential. We will release the records
or any part of them only if you give us written authorization.
